For those who find anxiety a frequent but not debilitating occurrence, the following exercise can help quiet a racing mind.
Your mind may begin to wander during the process. If this occurs then simply observe it and let it pass by. Bring your attention back to the exercise and keep at it. Do this without judgement or negative self talk (eg ‘I’m such a scatterbrain, I can’t even focus’)
